Natural area management

We use the methods put forward by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in all the natural areas we protect. The IUCN is the world’s oldest and biggest conservation organization, grouping more than 1,200 governmental and non-governmental members in 160 countries, including Para la Naturaleza, which became a member in 2013. Among other things, the IUCN is responsible for laying the groundwork for management and classification of natural protected areas and of producing the Red List of Threatened Species.
