Great teacher workshop to educate about the threatened Sapo Concho at Hacienda La Esperanza

Staff of Para la Naturaleza, US Fish and Wildlife Services, Puerto Rico Department of Natural Resources and collaborators participated in the first Teacher Workshop to educate about the threatened endemic toad, Sapo Concho at Hacienda la Esperanza.

This collaborative effort develops a curriculum to provide teachers and educators tools such as class lessons and hands on activities to learn about this emblematic species.

The day is filled with activities to engage teachers, educators and their students to gain knowledge about the the characteristics, habitat and threats of the Sapo Concho.
