Para la Naturaleza staff enjoys workshop about Management of Natural Protected Areas

The workshop stimulated Para la Naturaleza staff to reflect on policies for effective management.

Para la Naturaleza Team is participating in a workshop for Management of Natural Protected Areas. From reenforcement to the development and effective use of  management plans, the course engaged staff in discussions about value of Natural Protected Areas in Puerto Rico.

Staff of Para la Naturaleza actively joined Jim Barborak and Alan Moore of Colorado State University. As members of the World Commission of Protected Areas of International Union for the Conservation of Nature they facilitated the workshops providing information on capitalizing the opportunities provided by Natural Protected Areas for socio-economic growth.

The workshop stimulated Para la Naturaleza staff to reflect on policies for effective management and develop specific actions within the various Natural Protected Areas that Para la Naturaleza manages.

The enthusiastic participation reflects the dedication of Para la Naturaleza staff to provide the best and sustainable practices for the management of Natural Protected Areas.
